I left a review earlier saying it fits well before it got tested for its waterproof ability. Well, it has now been tested and I am sad to say it is not 100% waterproof. I now have a pillow in the washing machine because the pillow case was not waterproof.
We now have these encasement protectors on every bed and pillow in our family. Our first one has been in constant use for almost two years. It stands up well to warm/hot washing, dries faster than expected when hung with thought and has protected the mattress from sick children more times than I can count. We primarily got an encasement style due to dustmite allergies and recommend these as a great way to minimise that allergen. They feel lovely and have no awful chemical smell like others we've had in the past. Materials are clearly quality, the zip especially is superior to our previous one. There is no noise or feeling when sleeping on it, you wouldn't even know it's there. Speedy delivery and excellent service with each purchase too, I happily recommend EcoLinen and these encasements often!
